Around Antigua, Guatemala:
The Fuego and Acatenango Volcanoes
Antigua, situated in the Valley of Panchoy in Guatemala's Central Highlands, is surrounded by mountains on all sides. Three volcanoes are visible to the south and southwest.
This photo shows the Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes, southwest of Antigua. Fuego (left) is still active, while Acatenango (right) has been dormant since 1972.
