Tour Schedule

Tours run from Saturday to Saturday. They begin and end at the airport in Guatemala City.

Day 1 (Saturday)
Pickup at the airport in Guatemala City and transfer to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala.
Day 2 (Sunday)
Transfer to Chichicastenango. Visit the market, which is one of the largest outdoor markets in Latin America and a great place to buy authentic Mayan handcraft. In the afternoon transfer to your hotel in Quetzaltenango.
Day 3 (Monday)
Visit Zunil and Fuentes Georginas.
Day 4 (Tuesday)
Tour of the historic center of Quetzaltenango. Visit the Minerva Temple and other important monuments.
Day 5 (Wednesday)
Transfer to your hotel in Panajachel.
Day 6 (Thursday)
Boat tour of Lake Atitlan. Visit Santa Cruz, Jaibalito, San Juan, San Pedro and Santiago Atitlan.
Day 7 (Friday)
Transfer to your hotel in Antigua Guatemala and tour of the historic center with visits to colonial-era ruins and the Jade Museum.
Day 8 (Saturday)
Transfer to the airport in Guatemala City.

Prices and Terms

Package Price:
One student, single occupancy: US$1,495.00 per person
Two students, double occupancy: US$1,295.00 per person

Included: Transportation by shuttle bus, hotel accommodation, tours and entrance fees, 20 hours of one-on-one Spanish lessons, taxes

Not included: Meals, drinks, tips

Payment: A 25 percent deposit is due after confirmation of the tour. The balance is due 30 days before arrival.

Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation 15 days or more before the start of the tour, 50 percent of your payments will be refunded. No refund can be given for later cancellations or no-shows.

Additional Information

The tour schedule may be changed, particularly during the rainy season, if we believe such changes enhance your experience or are necessary to ensure your and your teacher's safety and well-being.

Your Spanish teacher will accompany you throughout the tour and also be your guide. The program includes approximately 20 hours of one-on-one lessons. The schedule of the lessons is flexible and can be adjusted depending on which other activities you wish to pursue. No refund can be given if you take less than 20 hours of lessons.

The hotels we use in each location are clean, comfortable and of medium standard. If you prefer to stay at a first-class hotel, we can arrange that for an extra charge if such accommodation is available at the time.

The shuttle buses we use have a capacity of 10 to 12 passengers. They are clean, well maintained and properly insured. The drivers are experienced, courteous and familiar with the route.
